Blue Paua Shell with Gold Flower of Life and Back Om

Although not a gemstone, the Paua Shell (related to the abalone) is recognized as sacred to the Maori people of New Zealand from where it is harvested, and is used frequently in their carvings to represent the glittering eyes of the ancestors that gaze down from the dark heavens above. Paua is said to bring the serenity of the sea, bestowing a sense of peace, comfort, beauty, and delight. It is considered to be a very heart-centered substance, aiding artistic expression as well as harmony in relationships, particularly relating to the family.

This Pinecone has been imprinted with the Flower of Life, cast in 24k Gold. Found in places of worship and mysticism in ancient cultures throughout the world, the Flower of Life is said to contain the patterns of all creation as they emerged from the Great Void. Leonardo Da Vinci himself studied this symbol and its mathematical forms, through which he derived the Golden Ratio of phi that serves as a standard of perfection in form to this day.

The back of this Pinecone has been anointed with our "Third Eye" emblem, cast in 24k Gold.  This powerful icon is a fusion of the Egyptian "Eye of Horus" -- a source of protection, good-health and power -- and the "Om" symbol -- a sacred symbol of the omnipotent, omnipresent divine, and of spiritual ascension.
